Ipod Touch 2nd Generation 8gb Player
What is 'jailbreaking' (iPod Touch 2G), and which is better, 8 or 16GB?
So..when you jailbreak it (iPod Touch 2nd Generation), you can download/ get apps from Apple's app store? Or can you already do that without jailbreaking? I don't know how to jailbreak, and even if I did know, I'd probably hesitate to risk permanently damaging the music player.
I just got my iPod Touch ^.^ (8GB)~ so before I open it, I'd like to get some things clarified. I can still return it, so idk if I should keep the 8 or go for 16...I don't have very many songs...like maybe around 300 at the most...but I'm planning on getting quite a few apps. Do apps take up a lot of space? Thanks!!
No reason to jailbreak an iphone if all you want are apps from the Apple store. Jailbreaking is for people who want to explore the inner working of the phone, use obscure software that apple doesn't want running on the phone or to use the phone on a network other than AT&T (in the U.S.).
No reason for you to do it.
If you have an ipod, get the 8gb. 16gb is not enough for a huge music collection anyway. The differenvce between 8gb and 16gb is a lot but in the big picture it means a few movies and a few hundred mp3s.
